Sean McDaniel has been working as a cinematographer for over a decade on narrative, commercial and documentary projects. Sean furthered his studies as a cinematographer while acquiring his M.F.A. in Film Production at U.S.C.'s School of Cinematic Arts. His work has screened in numerous film festivals around the world including the Cannes Short Film Corner, Palm Springs Film Festival, LA Shorts Film Festival, Hollyshorts, and the Vancouver international Film Festival, among others. His first feature film as cinematographer, Bullitt County, premiered at the Austin Film Festival and was released through AMC Theatres’ Independent Film Program in half a dozen major markets. Dons of Disco, the feature documentary for which he shot all of the U.S. portions, premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2019 and is now streaming on Amazon Prime. As a director of photography, Sean strives to tell powerful stories through his work behind the camera in collaboration with talented directors.
