Sean McDaniel is an accomplished cinematographer with over a decade of experience across narrative, commercial, and documentary projects. His recent feature credits include Malum (Welcome Villain) and V/H/S Halloween (Shudder), displaying his expertise in crafting atmospheric and evocative visuals. On the commercial side, Sean specializes in tabletop cinematography, collaborating with leading brands such as Nestlé, Budweiser, Coca-Cola, Popeye’s, and Starbucks. Driven by a passion for filmmaking since childhood, Sean furthered his studies as a cinematographer while acquiring his M.F.A. in film production at U.S.C’s School of Cinematic Arts. His work has screened in numerous film festivals around the world, including the Cannes Film Festival, Slamdance, Austin Film Festival, Palm Springs Film Festival, and the Vancouver International Film Festival, among others. Through his close partnerships with directors, Sean strives to tell visually compelling and meaningful stories.
